With holiday spirit rapidly ramping up, development of Thrive has ground to a near halt this week. Despite that, we've still got a few PRs lined up and ready to test and merge when possible. Unfortunately there will not be a devbuild this week as we haven't merged any changes, but that just means that the next can only be bigger!

This week we made a lot of progress in the development of 0.6.0 with a final big push of changes. We are happy to say that we've successfully pushed the day/night cycle, as well as many bug fixes. Note that we did not have time to implement tutorials or other accessory features for the day/night cycle, so you will need to enable it in settings to play with it.

Development continues as we march on to the eventual release of 0.6.0, which grows increasingly exciting with each new change and addition! it may be fortunate news or not, but we have decided to push the release date of 0.6.0 forward by a week to give us more time to finish up some of the heftier features such as the day/night cycle which as been giving us some unexpected trouble. This week, development efforts have largely been centered around the continued testing and refinement of our day/night feature which has proven to be deceptively complicated to implement. The feature is not yet ready for the devbuild, but we hope to at least have it complete in time for the next release.

While probably not as exciting to most fans, progress continues on our upcoming revamped launcher which should substantially streamline user experience and process handling.
