Progress Update 10/30/2021
Progress towards 0.5.6 and the Steam and Itch releases continued this week. The Steam store page has been completed and it can be hopefully published next week. The Itch store page has also been finished, and it will be published once a customized build of the game for Itch is finished along with the required scripts to upload the game to Itch.

This week we managed to fit in two devbuilds as we continue to prepare for the eventual release of 0.5.6 on the 27th of November. We've made plenty of progress so far, and plenty of time to go even further! In addition we are also on the cusp of our first official platform release on the itch.io game store, with only the trailer remaining to be completed before our debut. If we are unable to release on steam by next month we may have to push back the release date of 0.5.6.

We managed to see some excellent progress this week with a fresh burst of activity from our developers, allowing us to cook up quite the sizable sizable devbuild. We have also been putting our heads together to devise our steam and Itch.io releases and decide how we want to make them special.

Looks like progress is still going pretty slow on Thrive, though the last few days we've seen increased activity on Github as a new programmer has done quite a few PRs. This new level of activity might be the new normal going forward as it's probable that for many people school has started again.

This week you may have noticed that our website was down for a couple of days, as for whatever reason our previous host had become unresponsive and we were unable to bring them back. As a result, Hhyyrylainen spent a day migrating our servers to the association account in order to avoid this event in the future.

Another week and another host of bugfixes! Operations are still running at a steady pace as we continue to make progress on 0.5.6 which should be much more stable to play thanks to the efforts of our programmers.

This past week we have continued our ceaseless efforts to hunt down every living bug hiding in Thrive, as well as contemplating methods for improving the present gameplay experience. Many of our developers are currently tied up in school and such however, so progress is still noticeably slower.

With school starting this month, development of Thrive has seen a bit of slow down this week as many of our developers now find themselves busy with the resulting schoolwork. Rest assured, development shall continue as always.
