It’s a brand new year, and we at Revolutionary Games Studio have been kicking it off with a well earned break from major development for the past two weeks. Not too much has occurred behind the scenes these past few days, but some of us have been casting a critical eye over the current state of the game to plan out how to touch up on the many new features that have arrived as of the prior year. Thus there has been some discussion and planning on how to approach making the microbe stage more polished and enjoyable.
Looking back throughout last year, we made a mighty leap from version 0.6.4.1 all the way to the most recent version of 0.8.0, only two major updates before the 1.0 release of the microbe stage. Should this pace keep up, there is no doubt in our minds that the completion of the microbe stage is likely within this new year.
This astounding pace of development would have been impossible were it not for the contributions of our supporters allowing us to hire a full time paid programmer to boost development speed, as well as our many talented and passionate volunteers that continue to make this daunting project a reality. For that you have our sincerest gratitude!
