There has been a lot of experimentation with physics engines this past couple weeks in an effort to identify the best choice for Thrive going forward. This is vital to the future of Thrive as physics simulations account for a significant portion of performance. You can read about the current findings here.
Clarification for last week: the main focus of development had moved to performance related microbe stage code refactoring. All DevCenter work last week had been entirely volunteer driven.
