We’ve had a burst of activity this week due to the sudden contributions of some unaffiliated programmers, so we are happy to say we’ve got a nice devbuild for this week as a result.
Unfortunately, the resulting onslaught of PRs that needed testing and approval ended up slowing down our work on the physics integration. We are lacking in dedicated playtesters and reviewers, so the task falls upon the shoulders of our programming team. Nonetheless, we’ve still made some headway.
Programming
- New DevBuild for our patrons:
- Improved auto-evo speed by adding extra caching. Time taken to run auto-evo is now down to 50% of what it was previously.
- Added a vacuole upgrade that specializes it for a specific compound with double the storage space for that compound only.
- Auto-evo exploring tool map now by default focuses on the initial patch instead of being focused on nothing at the corner of the map.
- Fixed crash when double clicking on organelle move (or other organelle right click menu item).
- Fixed editor confirm button warning badge getting stuck on sometimes.
- Organelle upgrades now only cause an edit event if they actually changed the organelle (instead of always when closing the modify popup).
- New languages: Bengali, Belarussian, and Macedonian.
- Updated translations.
