Progress Update 09/28/2024

Our team has been diligently working on various aspects, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. We’ve made significant strides in refining existing features, improving gameplay mechanics, and enhancing the overall experience.

In addition to our ongoing work, we’ve started developing new features to enhance gameplay. We are also focusing on improving visuals and graphics, along with sound, to create a more immersive experience. Thank you for your continued support, and stay tuned for more updates!

  • New DevBuild for our patrons:
    • Added an upgrade for flagellum for picking between long and short variants that have different energy cost and speed
    • Added a compound cloud benchmark
    • Increased engulf size requirement for big phosphate chunks
    • Fixed mucocyst to work in cell colonies
    • Fixed Thriveopedia search not working
    • Fixed tooltips popping up while cursor is outside graphical auto-evo report
    • Reimplemented debug line renderer as a GDExtension to make it much faster than before
    • Updated code checking tools
    • Tweaked the pre-commit hook to be much shorter
    • Updated Jolt Physics Engine version
    • Updated YamlDotNet from 16.1.2 to 16.1.3
    • Updated translations
