This week we have seen an explosion of activity in our graphics team, as our artists go wild with experimental ideas and redesigns that are sure to give the microbe stage a substantial glow-up. You can get a taste of some of the fruits of their cooking further down in this post.
We’ve also made some preparations for the player starting in an anoxic world (World with no oxygen) such as the hydrogenase protein, which could be described as a cousin of the metabolosome. This new part allows you to produce more energy without requiring oxygen, but it will be less efficient than the metabolosome once oxygen becomes available.
