Progress Update 10/19/2024
It’s the final week before the release of 0.7.1 and we are shifting our focus more towards bug fixing and polishing of already developed features. We finally implemented long-anticipated dynamic environments and many other cool features!

The world now starts off with no oxygen and photosynthesis once evolved will add oxygen to the world
Metabolosomes are now locked until reaching a patch with oxygen
Iron respiration no longer requires oxygen to keep it viable in the vents biome
Added a new music track for the ice shelf biome
Added a microbe background distortion shader effect that can be enabled in the options (this may become the default in the future)
Added an experimental bloom effect that can be enabled
Changed membrane bump map UVs to not distort with the membrane animation
Reworked patch and some UI icons as SVG files
Auto-evo can now generate flagellum length mutations
Reduced pulling cilia power a bit when there are many of them
Added missing models to the art gallery model viewer
Fixed a bug where the editor showed patch compounds as they were during the previous generation
Fixed showing how long gas compound storage takes to fill up, which didn't make sense as cells don't store the gas type compounds
Fixed regression in fossilization dialog not working
Made cloud benchmark spawn all types of clouds
Organelle tooltips are now dynamically generated from the organelle JSON data
