New concepts for organelle upgrades. Our current idea is to make two types of upgrades: those that change organelle proportions and those that add new properties. Whit this concept we plan to use UI elements we have already implemented, like sliders and selectable icons.

There’s a new feature, moving organelles! Now it’s possible to move them around in the editor with a small MP cost. This feature is early in development so there are some bugs we need to fix. It’s also available in a new dev-Build, as always available to our patrons.

We keep working on the patch report. New graphs were added showing the evolution of Species populations, Physical Conditions and Atmospheric Gases over the eons. Although right now the only useful graph is the one showing populations, since the other characteristics don’t change yet.

Happy new year! We want to start 2021 with a bang, so we have a new 0.5.3 release candidate for you! We have some new improvements as well. We improved the editor hex popups and the Cell Processes panel is ready and available in a new devBuild for patrons.

We are getting closer towards implementing Thermoplasts, last week we showed several concepts and models for this new mechanic and today we have something new: A Temperature Gradient Bar.

Another Build of the day is available. This time it features key bindings which now can be changed to whatever configuration you want! We also fixed some issues and bugs related to the UI.

More work on translations. We added support for fallback fonts, in other words, languages that use other alphabets like Chinese or Hebrew are now supported.
